Beach doubles up in Perth

Our leading sire SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE took the siring honours at Gloucester Park on Saturday night (July 15) with a winning double courtesy of smart two-year-old ALL OVER TAN and the tough three-year-old KERRIN JOSEPH.

ALL OVER TAN, who led throughout over 1730 metres in a 1:59.8 rate, has won two of her six outings to date.

The bay filly, who is out of a Pacific Fella mare, was bred and is owned by Bob Fowler.

While KERRIN JOSEPH raced without cover from the outset to post his sixth win from his season’s 14 starts. He rated 1:59.4 over 2130 metres with the last 800 in a slick 57.6.

Bred by Steve Johnson, the bay gelding is from a mare by Golden Greek. He is owned by B. J. and J. F. Oldroyd.
