At Bathurst the following night ‘SHARK’ sired a winning double with OMINOUS WARNING (1:54.7) in a Star Trek semi-final and ALLSTAR SEA (1:57.8).

Starting from the pole, OMINOUS WARNING rolled straight to the front and was never seriously challenged. The gelding has won ten of his last eleven starts!

From a mare by Classic Garry, OMINOUS WARNING was bred by Peter Trevor-Jones, R. P. and D. K. Wenning and M. Sieper and is raced by Messrs Trevor-Jones and Wenning.
