Empire Stallions sires scooped the pool on the first weekend of the 2019

They left five winners at Albion Park, three at Menangle, two at Globe Derby Park and important winners at Melton and the Bendigo Cup meeting.

SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE took the siring honours at Albion Park with a winning double in AARGYLE BEACH (1:53.4) and SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (1:56.5), while SLICE OF HEAVEN (1:55.2, by ROCKNROLL HANOVER), SIR JULIAN (1:55, FOUR STARZZZ SHARK) and SAMS A CHAMP (1:55.1, by DAWN OFA NEW DAY) also won on the same program.

The impressive ROCKNROLL HANOVER entire POWER OF RED (1:54.2), who took his stake earnings over the $200,000 mark, was the headline act for Empire Stallions at Menangle on Saturday night. AFTERDINNERSPEAKER NZ (by WELL SAID), who won in a career-best 1:52.2, and BETTERMATCH (1:53.1, by KENNETH J) were other Empire winners at Menangle.

At Globe Derby Park, ROCKING WITH CHARM (by ROCKNROLL HANOVER) and WESTERN DEBT (by Western Terror) emerged successful, while in Victoria, IMPRINCESSGEMMA (by VILLAGE JOLT) was a runaway winner in 1:53.3 at Melton and PISTOL ABBEY (by WESTERN TERROR) made it three from three this season with a 1:55.6 winning effort at Bendigo.
