New winners for Well Said

WELL SAID was represented by three winners including two ‘new’ three-year-old victors in the space of 48 hours.

POSH ACCENT, a three-year-old filly, led throughout to bring up her first winner at Young, WELLSAIDLUCY, another three-year-old filly, showed brilliant speed when she won in runaway fashion on debut at Ararat, while ROYAL LINCOLN, a New Zealand bred gelding, notched his first win on Australian soil and fifth lifetime at Redcliffe.

POSH ACCENT, out of an Art Major mare, was bred by Lauriston Bloodstock and is owned by H. A. Benger, Jenny Turnbull, P. Doble and G. I. and K. E. Peart.

WELLSAIDLUCY, also from a daughter of Art Major, was bred by Gary Hawthorn and Jenny Gallagher and is raced by P.D., G. S. and D. M. Lewis.

ROYAL LINCOLN, who led and won in a career-best 1:58.6, is out of an Elsu mare and is owned by Biddlecombe Equine (Aust.) Pty Ltd.
