Rocknroll doubles up at Globe Derby

HILLTOP ROSE and I WANNA ROCKNROLL, a pair of daughters of ROCKNROLL HANOVER, won on the same night at Globe Derby Park on Saturday (September 2).

HILLTOP ROSE, who led from end-to-end, made it four consecutive wins and earned a new speed badge of 1:56.9. From an Albert Albert mare, the $50,000 winning mare was bred and is raced by Val Bain.

I WANNA ROCKNROLL, who also set a new career mark (1:59.5), notched her third success. Out of a mare by Panorama, the brown mare was bred by G. M. McGinty and S. A. Mueller and is owned by H. M. Stevens and D. A. Borrett.
