Shark winners galore!

FOUR STARZZZ SHARK, who is enjoying his best season on record with $3.2-million progeny earnings, sired six winners in four different States last week.

‘SHARK’S’ haul included the 1:58.1 Albion Park winner BLUE POINTER, a double at Young with the three-year-olds PITTSBURGH and SUNSET SNOOZZZE, MISTA SHARK (1:56.8, Bunbury), MILEY ROSE (1:58.3, Geelong) and CHICAGO STAR (Charlton).

BLUE POINTER, who sat parked throughout, brought up win No 20 and sent his stake earnings over the $160,000 mark. Out of a Bookmaker mare, the gelding was bred by Barry Stewart and is owned by Stephen Dux.

PITTSBURGH, who registered his first success, and SUNSET SNOOZZZE, who posted her second, won consecutive races at Young.

From a 12-win D M Dilinger mare, PITTSBURGH was bred by R. K. and J. M. Hayes and is raced by Kylie Osmond, while SUNSET SNOOZZZE, from a mare by Panorama, was bred by G. J. Riley, John Justice and A. J. McGregor and is owned by Lilia Lukianenko.

MISTA SHARK, a New Zealand-bred entire, completed his fourth win for the season from nine starts. Out of an In The Pocket mare, the bay is owned by Michael Brennan, M. L. and D. C. McQuoid and H. and R. J. Le Breton.

MILEY ROSE, who led throughout, posted her 12th win and advanced her stakes tally to just shy of $100,000. From a mare by Cam Terrific, the bay mare was bred in Tasmania by McKillop Management Pty Ltd and is raced by S. A. Dornauf and P. J. McKillop.

CHICAGO STAR, who has now won three races, was bred by M. G. and J. P. Davis out of a mare by Equitable. The mare is owned by F. M. Widdup and M. J. Walsh.
