WELL SAID sired every impressive winners on either side of the continent on Saturday night (November 3).

CRACKERJACK STRIDE, an entire, led throughout to win a heat of the NSW Reward Series at Penrith, while the talented three-year-old THE BUCKEYE BULLET led from barrier to post to easily account for older, more experienced horses at Northam.

The winner of two of his six starts this season, CRACKERJACK STRIDE was bred and is owned by Emilio and Mary Rosati and is out of an Art Major mare.

THE BUCKEYE BULLET, bred in New Zealand by Tony Barron, carved out the last 800 in a blazing 56.8 on his way to his fourth success from his last five attempts. From a mare by Son Of Afella, the brown gelding is raced and trained by Greg and Skye Bond.

THE BUCKEYE BULLET looks a genuine contender for the Derby and other major classics in the autumn.
