Ton up for Tell All filly

Tough TELL ALL filly TELL ME TALES sent her stake winnings over the $100,000 mark and earned a new speed badge of 1:53.1 when she captured the 3YO Classic at Melton on Friday night (July 28).

Starting from the No 5 gate, the reigning Vicbred champion settled down second last in the six-horse field. Set alight three-wide in the middle stages, TELL ME TALES worked up lead the outside division for the final 10000 metres. Asked for the supreme effort, the bay filly surged to the front in a 27.5 third quarter and roared home in 28.2 to easily gain the day. It was her sixth win from 11 starts and increased her bankroll to $100,640.

Out of a Falcon Seelster mare, TELL ME TALES was bred and is part-owned by Helen Head with D. L. and L. J. Chisholm.

Another TELL ALL daughter, LARISAS ADVICE, brought up her second success at Shepparton the following night. She covered the 1690 metres in a 1:57.5 rate with the last 400 in 27.6.

From an unraced Troublemaker mare, LARISAS ADVICE was bred by the Estate of the late Jim Amalfi and is owned by Gerard and J. P. Amalfi and N. Moltisanti.
