Victoria double for Rocknroll

Leading sire ROCKNROLL HANOVER was represented by winners at opposite ends of Victoria on Friday (July 14).

PLEAD THE FAITH, a three-year-old filly, won for the second time at Mildura, while promising gelding ROCKNROLL NOAH led throughout in the Pace Final at Melton.

PLEAD THE FAITH, who also led from end-to-end, was bred by P. G. and D. J. and the Estate of L. J. Lowry, M. J. Dillon and A. J. Lewis from a Live Or Die mare. The filly is owned by P. G. and D. J. Lowry, M. J. Dillon and L. J. Wilson.

While ROCKNROLL NOAH, who covered the 1720 metres in a 1:54.9 rate – almost three seconds inside his previous mark, has won four of his 10 starts this season.

Out of a Village Jasper mare, the brown gelding was bred by P. N. and D. E. Thurston. He is raced by D. A. Jack, Jenny Turnbull and L. R. Cormican.
