WELL SAID landed a siring ‘double’ in Western Australia on Friday night (December 28) with LADY DE LA RENTA saluting the judge at Gloucester Park and NORTHVIEW ORATOR at Albany.

LADY DE LA RENTA, a Group and Listed winner as a three-year-old, led throughout in the fillies and mares’ race to win comfortably.

She rated 1:58.2 over 2130 metres with the final 800 in a slick 57.9.

It was her 10th win from 24 starts and advanced her stake tally to almost $135,000.

Out of a daughter of JET LAAG, LADY DE LA RENTA was bred by Kevin, Annette and Kody Charles. She is owned by Annie and C. Belton and S. W. Hoffmann.

NORTHVIEW ORATOR, who took full advantage of a sweet trip to post her third success, is a New Zealand bred son of WELL SAID.

From a Real Desire mare, the brown gelding was bred by Murdoch Bloodstock Ltd and is owned by Solid Gold Standardbreds, B. L. Jones, K. Woolfenden, J. R. and R. V. Brennan, M. Saxby, R. Vassallo, R. Fitzgerald, L. Dewar and CAD Syndicate.
