A big weekend for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE, with nine winners across the country including the Mother Of Pearl for mare, Bremusa, in Launceston; a new 3YO winner with Some Copper Beach in at Gloucester Park; a McPherson Memorial heat for Glenledi Boy at Cranbourne; and wins for Ima Top Tycoon (Albion Park), Zara Whitby (Bunbury), Neds Beach (Cranbourne), Squire (Newcastle), Funatthebeach in 1:53.5 at Tabcorp Park Menangle, and Somedan (Devonport).
A hugely impressive run at Albion Park for WELL SAID son, Royal Lincoln, who streeted rivals by 21m in 1:52.5.
Doubles for both FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Kapow Shannon in 1:55.3 at Albion Park & Sir Julian at Redclilffe) and ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Alpine Stride in 1:53.2 at Tabcorp Park Menangle & King Of Swing by 6.3m in 1:54.4 at Gloucester Park).
In the US, CAPTAINTREACHEROUS filly Tall Drink Hanover pushed her season's earnings to just shy of half a million (and total to over $1.01M!) with a 1:50.2 win in the $165,000 Matron Stake at Dover Downs (below).
