The run of 3YO winners for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE has started to ramp up, with four of his twelve weekend winners being juveniles, three being brand new 3YO winners!
Colt South Coast Arden saluted in just his second start at Alexandra Park, Sir Roman won on debut at Globe Derby Park and at Dubbo, Smooth Baht landed a first win for the new season while at Gloucester Park, Tiffany Rose added another win to her season's stats.
The Group 2 Geelong Pacing Cup went to Phoenix Prince, joining other Beach winners Somewhere Secret & Glenledi Boy (Tabcorp Park Melton), That Alexander Guy (Timaru), Just Makemine Diamonds (Gloucester Park), Feel The Burn (1:52, Tabcorp Park Menangle), Ima Top Tycoon (1:54.7, Albion Park), and Somedan (Hobart).
In the North, 2YO colt Papi Rob Hanover also continued his winning run, securing the $400,000 Governor's Cup in 1:51.1 at The Meadowlands.
Weekend doubles for both ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Rnr Windermere & Rocknroll Music, both at Bankstown) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Rollon Jack, Burnie & Four Starzzz Forsa, Gloucester Park).
Past sires represented over the weekend were Blissfull Hall (Rawhid Girl, Carramar Philemon, Hurricane Hall, Blissfull Thinking & Late Night Date), Artistic Fella (Heza Conman & Studleigh Stride), Village Jolt (Go Jo Jolt & Midnight Man), Tell All (Secretagent Tycoon), Western Terror (Fiscal Fantasy) and Dawn Ofa New Day (Celestial Daybreak, taking both Laucke Sprint divisions on the one night!).
