THE WEEKEND WRAP
 
A big night for our boys in the NSW Breeders Challenge 2YO heats at Newcastle (below), with winners for HESTON BLUE CHIP (Rockea Ruler), CAPTAINTREACHEROUS (La Cabeza Gem) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Pantaloon & Breivika).
 
Further 2YO winners were recorded by HESTON at Hobart, where Melnrowley won the Tasmanian TC Sweepstakes 2YO Fillies Final by 5m; and by SOMEBEACH at Cranbourne with Euroking saluting.
 
An impressive double at Tabcorp Park Menangle for ROCKNROLL HANOVER with King Of Swing stopping the clock at 1:49.7 and Atomic Red in 1:50.7, joining Cindarockinrella at Wagga by 13.7m on his winners list.
 
A further three winners for SOMEBEACH in 3YOs Adira (Wagga) and Red Hot Lady (Gloucester Park), and seasoned runner, Johnny White (Redcliffe), while WELL SAID son Simon chalked up another victory at Globe Derby Park.
 
Of our past sires, WESTERN TERROR remains dominant, with four winners over the weekend (Sassyola, Favouritehighlight, Marmitta and True Confession), with winners also for BLISSFULL HALL (Rubbers Dilema) and KENNETH J (Kennys Revenge).
