HESTON BLUE CHIP recorded a weekend double with 2YO filly Melnrowley victorious in Hobart and at Mildura, 3YO filly Camnat recording yet another win, this time by a whopping 11.6m.
WELL SAID (The Buckeye Bullet, 1:55.8 by 10m at Gloucester Park), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Rocknroll Eyes, Terang) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (3YO colt, Promise Me Heaven, Mildura) all recorded winners, while SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE collected his usual haul.
BEACH recorded seven winners - 3YOs Off N Gone (Addington), Wilshire Boulevard (Mildura), Broadbeach (Bunbury) & Smooth Baht (Parkes) as well as older runners, Maraetai (1:53.5, Tabcorp Park Menangle), Firestorm Red (Parkes) and Braeview Bondi (by 15.2m at Gloucester Park).
In Canada this weekend, Woodbine Park provided outstanding divisional results in the Champlain Stakes - Abuckabett Hanover in 1:50.3 in the $93,000 2YO C&G division (BETTING LINE) and in the $89,000 Fillies round, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE daughter, Caviart Audrey.
Also in the frame for the $77,000 3YO Somebeachsomewhere divisions were CAPTAINTREACHEROUS colts, Capt Midnight (1:48.3) and Warrawee Vital (1:48.2).
