Well Said mare IS good!

SHE COULD BE GOOD, a New Zealand-bred daughter of WELL SAID, notched her fourth win from nine starts on Australian soil at Northam on Saturday night (September 2).

Starting from inside the back row, the mare settled down behind the leader and raced in a zip-fastener pocket for most of the trip.

Tipped three-wide rounding the home turn, SHE COULD BE GOOD let down with a withering finishing burst to score by 2.3 metres.

The mile rate for the 2190 metres was 2:00 with the last 800 in 58.9.

Out of a New York Motoring mare, SHE COULD BE GOOD, who won five lifetime races, was bred by Reg Caldow and is owned by Robert Gartrell.

Earlier in the week the WELL SAID three-year-old filly MY LITTLEDREAMGIRL made it two for two with an effortless all-the-way win at Leeton.

Out of the good Caprock mare Adios Dream, MY LITTLEDREAMGIRL was bred by Yirribee Pacing Stud and is owned by Marlene White.
