Empire Stallions Tells All
Mon. July 19, 2010
TELL ALL, the sensational 2007 North American Pacer of the Year, 3-Year-Old Colt of the Year, Little Brown Jug Winner and North American Cup Champion, will be stamping his passport this September when he arrives in Australia to stand the 2010/11 season at Empire Stallions in Avenel, Victoria.

TELL ALL p,3,1:48.3 ($1,509,227) by Real Desire-Have No Secrets- Albatross was an outstanding juvenile winning 12 times while capturing such classics as the $1.5 Million North American Cup, the $480,00 Little Brown Jug in straight heats , the $195,000 Tattersalls Stake, the $125,000 Simcoe Stakes, multiple Kentucky Sire Stakes, the Diplomat Stakes and the Youthful Stakes.

Early in the racing calendar, TELL ALL firmly established himself at the top of his class with his dominant performances in both the elimination and final of the North America Cup at Mohawk Raceway. He easily won his elimination of the Cup in 1:50.4 and returned the next week for the Final drawing post position two. Locked in on the rail in fifth position to the half reached in :54.3, TELL ALL pulled to the outside and stalked the leader to the head of the stretch drawing away from his competition to win powerfully in 1:50.3 on a tiring track.

Winning the Little Brown Jug over Delaware, Ohio's half mile track in September is considered one of the sport's most coveted prizes. The winner of this event must win both an elimination heat and the final on the same afternoon to be crowned the Champion. TELL ALL did it and did it in style! In his first heat of the Jug, TELL ALL sat fourth moving to the outside before the half to begin his first over challenge. Advancing on the leader Southwind Lynx, TELL ALL was within a length of the lead at the 1:22.1 three-quarters marker. As they straightened for home, TELL ALL surged past the leader and hit the wire first in 1:50.3 - the fastest mile of the year over a four furlong track. Returning for the second and what would be the final heat just two hours later, TELL ALL left from the rail and never looked back - commanding the lead the entire distance. He posted a sizzling first quarter of :27, hit the half at :56.2, the three-quarter s in 1:24.4 pacing strongly to the finish line in 1:52 to win this prestigious race with authority . A replay of this exciting race can found on our website www.empirestallions.com.

TELL ALL's performance in the $195,000 Tattersalls Stake over Lexington's famed Red Mile only two weeks after his grueling two heat Jug win, was nothing short of brilliant. Drawing post 6, he blasted home from seven lengths back at the half pacing his last quarter in a remarkable :25.4 to hit the wire in a career best 1:48.3.

Driver Jody Jamieson, a winner of 5,300 races and over $60 million, piloted TELL ALL throughout his career and described his gait as flawless. "TELL ALL is a clone of his sire who I also drove. He is a similar size, physique and possesses the same wicked speed" said Jamieson. "TELL ALL is a horse that will dig in down the stretch and pace all the way through the finish line. He has tremendous ability and heart. He was just incredible in the Little Brown Jug - it was a gutsy performance - and his gutsiness, in my opinion, is his best quality."

Trained by the 2007 Canadian Trainer of the Year Blair Burgess, TELL ALL was raced by a small syndicate including Blair's wife Karin and his father Bob. Burgess' many other notable training accomplishments include TELL ALL's sire Real Desire and two Hambletonian winners - the 2006 Horse of the Year Glidemaster and Amigo Hall. Early in his career, Blair trained such great performers as Amity Chef, Frugal Gourmet and Road Machine who are well known to Down Under Breeders.
Following his extraordinary 3-year-old season, TELL ALL was voted 2007's Pacer of the Year as well as the 3-Year-Old Pacer of the Year. He was that year's all-age leading money-winning pacer with over $1.5 million in earnings, the National Season's Champion on a mile track in 1:48.3 and the National Season's Champion on a half-mile track - 1:50.3.

A magnificent looking stallion standing 15.3 hands, TELL ALL is from Real Desire's first crop and is his sire's richest performer. Real Desire is already the sire of 135 in 1:55 and 10 in 1:50 with nearly $20 million in earnings. TELL ALL's dam, Have No Secrets p,3,1:51 ($238,641) by Albatross is considered to be one of the best fillies ever left by her sire. His grandam Clear Copy by Jate Lobell is a 100% producer with all nine foals winning faster than 1:55.1 and seven faster than 1:52.4. As a further note of interest, TELL ALL is bred on the same cross as the great Artsplace (Abercrombie sire line- Albatross dam).

TELL ALL was bred by leading Kentucky breeder Tom Crouch who has been responsible for breeding many distinguished horses over the last 40 years and he takes great pride in breeding this stallion. TELL ALL is the product of Crouch's Rasmussen Factor breeding theory where there is a doubling up of an influential mare in a pedigree - in this case both TELL ALL's sire and dam share the common ancestor Shifting Sands. Shifting Sands is the dam of Little Brown Jug winner Strike Out, is the fourth dam of Real Desire, the third dam of Have No Secrets with this immediate pedigree also producing the Southern Hemisphere sires Panorama and Grinfromeartoear.

In North America, TELL ALL is fully syndicated and stands in New Jersey at Deo Volente Farms under the management of Brittany Farms where he is supported by top commercial breeders. His first North American foals will be sold at the 2010 select yearling sales.

Empire Stallions is pleased to offer TELL ALL to Australian breeders this season at the very reasonable introductory fee of $5,000 including GST. "We are delighted to have TELL ALL standing at Empire this season" said David James, president of Empire Stallions. "Sensational on the racetrack, he is also an outstanding, athletic individual with excellent fertility and conformation. We believe that he is priced at a fee that makes sense to breeders."
