Also in the money this week were mare Backwards First (M & S van Gemeren and J Mifsud) who clocked 1:54.2 at Wagga to take a heat of the Waratah Series, three-year-old Turn O The Tide (G & J Bowen) at Alexandra, Franco Sinatra (Spreydon Lodge) to bring up $107,000 at Addington, Alby Two Chains (Rhiannon Park) by 9.4m at Globe Derby Park and at Menangle, star mare Lux Aeterna (Alf la Spina & Brooklyn Lodge) in a sizzling 1:50 to take her bank past $523,000.
At The Meadowlands, Ken Hanover stopped the clock at 1:47.4 to take the $86,000 Dave Brower Memorial in fine style.
Of our past list it was of course BETTING LINE heading the charge with eight winners – Tremendous Sensation, Daylight, Bodyline, Ubetcha Tigerpie, Terragong Swinger, Give Fred A Clap, Le Spartacus and Eye See Amour all in the money. ROCKNROLL HANOVER took a double with Kissmelvis and Dynasty, while there were winners for WESTERN TERROR (Mammals Riddle) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Bay of Biscay).
