Another fine night at Albion Park for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with Sure Thing Captain (bred by Lauriston Bloodstock) making it three consecutive wins to take out another heat of the Inter Dominion, and in The JC McMullen, filly Arrive (John Polson) was dominant with her 1:51.1 victory, taking her earnings past $106,000. CAPTAIN had two further winners – another filly Crusader Miss (Mal Moody) saluted at Newcastle to surge past $70,000 in the bank, and mare Come On Sloopy (A Daniels & J Blunt) went back to back at Globe Derby for her eleventh lifetime win.
STAY HUNGRY three-year-olds were on the march too – Kittykat Cutie (Wyndown Stud) added a 3YO win to her four 2YO victories at Globe Derby Park while at Launceston, Coniston (A Tormey & T Nicholson) put his formline at 7-3-2.
Of our past roster, WELL SAID led the way this weekend with four winners – We Salute You, Mitzi Said, Beautifully Put and Punto Caliente – while BETTING LINE recorded a double with Le Spartacus and Ubetcha Tigerpie. Also represented were ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Troubadour), WESTERN TERROR (Sounds Like Fun) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Orama).
