CAPTAINTREACHEROUS was represented by five winners this week – Treacherous Times (M & S Moloney) sitting now on $99,000 at Shepparton, Beach Captain (Tony Ferguson) by 8.5m at Gloucester Park, Captain Groove, Captains Dream (Benstud with P & Z O’Dea) at Globe Derby Park, and three-year-olds Captain Groove (Louise Toulmin) by a whopping 21m at Tamworth and at Penrith, filly Astral Stride (E & M Stride) in 1:55.3 for her third win.
In North America, his juveniles also fired in the Oak Grove Kentucky Sires Stakes Consolations – Hip Shot in the 3YO Fillies series in a CAPTAIN trifecta with Duration and Ronstadt, and Heartofthesunrise in the 2YO Fillies series from TALL DARK STRANGER‘s Nash.
