A huge week for STAY HUNGRY whose progeny earnings in Australia hit the $1m mark with a midweek filly treble! A new winner at Albury in Hungryforlove (bred by Henry Campbell) by 4.2m, and second wins for Sharp Interest (P & S Ryan) who clocked 1:55.5 at Shepparton, and Princess Ballerina (Nathan Varcoe) at Bathurst.
Also at Bathurst, three-year-old CAPTAINTREACHEROUS filly Treacherous Belle (S Jones, G Croker & B Hewitt) hit $43,000 in stakes earnings, while gelding My Ultimate Hugo (John Markham) was successful at Tamworth.
The Red Mile delivered a load of results for our boys this week – TALL DARK STRANGER colt Ubrute (1:50.1) took an $80,000 leg of the Kentucky Championship Series, and in $30,000 legs of the Kentucky Commonwealth Series legs went to Thiago Hanover (1:50.4) and Drink To That (1:51.2) while Caviart Cadet (1:54.3) took a division of the Kentucky Wildcat Series. CAPTAINTREACHEROUS two-year-olds starred in teh Kentucky Golden Rod series with wins for both Benny B Hill (1:53.2) and Sea Bistro Hanover (1:52).
Of our past roster there was a treble for BETTING LINE (Butter Cup, Ultimate Diva & Our George Boston), a double for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Polly Peachum & Jimmy Joyce) and winners for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Icanmotor) and WESTERN TERROR (Terror Flying).
