A solid week for STAY HUNGRY with a three-year-old filly double at Bathurst – Our Dance Monkey (bred by D & M Grace and R & D Micallef) in 1:54.3 to hit $47,000 in stakes, and Zaras Special (Rickie Alchin) in 1:55.4 – as well as fellow filly Sharp Interest (P & S Ryan) taking win #3 in 1:55.4 at Shepparton! In North America, he had two-year-old winners in classic series legs – Thai Hanover in The Bret Hanover (Simpson Memorial) series at Pocono Downs and Staying At Tonys in the Kentucky Sire Stakes series at Cumberland Run.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS was also on the board, of course! – with three local winners – new two-year-old Meant To Be Sloy (Sloys Co) at Penrith, three-year-old Apex Stride (E & M Stride) at Menangle in 1:53.2, and win #6 for Keayang Crippa (Marg Lee) at Mildura. He also had a Kentucky series colt winner – Treacherous – and Simpson series winner – Treacherous Lou.
