A handy double this week for STAY HUNGRY after Fasting (bred by M Allamby, V & B Hancock) recorded a 1:54.7 to take his earnings over $30,000 at Wagga and filly Kellys Colours (T & A Evans, J Jarvis, A Vizanianis, G Hoklas, J Durnberger-Smith, B Foster, E Webster, J Gould & the Kelly Family) took a second victory at Penrith.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS also had winners at those tracks. At Wagga, Burton (Alex Smith & Russell Woods) topped $87,000. At Penrith, Peligroso brought up $126,000 in stakes and made for a breeding double for K & A Charles after new winner Money Boss saluted at Gloucester Park. Madrigal (Brian Cowley) hit $149,000 at Mt Gambier and at Ballarat, gelding Admiralofthefleet (Fred Crews) took win #11.
SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE had the best week of our former sires with Oursurfinsafari, Spook Crocker, Santa Casa Beach & You Fly With Us all in the money, while there were doubles for WELL SAID (Interpretation & Well Said Nugget) and WESTERN TERROR (Dee Terror & Send It), and a winner for BETTING LINE in Queen Lilibet.
