Three great winners this week for STAY HUNGRY – A second win for three-year-old filly Stay Dreamy (bred by J & K Norrish) at Redcliffe, Ark Sea (M & C Ryman) took her earnings past $139,000 with 1:51.3 at Menangle, and at Bathurst, Go Without (Rhiannon Park) topped $44,000 with a 1:54.8 victory.
For an Empire double there, Lux Aeterna (Brooklyn Lodge & the la Spina family) brought up $668,000 with her 1:53.1 win, while fellow mare Cool And Classy (Solid Earth) reached $487,000 with her third win in a row at Redcliffe. Magic Captain (Mal Moody) took victory at Gawler and Captain Foxtrot (P & R Aldons) at Redcliffe.
TALL DARK STRANGER three-year-olds were in the money at Pinjara where Gentlemans Promise (R Hall, R Waddell & K Keys) saluted and in Canberra where filly Machx The Stranger (P & D Thurston) went back to back.
At Pocono Downs, his filly Sundownsomewhere claimed a leg of the Bobby Weiss Series, as did STAY HUNGRY son Northern Altitude while at Yonkers his star Redwood Hanover took a $50,000 leg of the MGM Borgata series. CAPTAIN was represented at The Meadows by filly Kilauea Hanover in a leg of the Ruby Cook Memorial.
BETTING LINE (Ace of Spades, True Grit & Betting Ranger) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Designer Jewel, Lollipop & The Niteshift) both had trebles, while there were winners for WESTERN TERROR (Hes A Terror), FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Last Call) and WELL SAID (Nicely Spoken).
