STAY HUNGRY continues to rack up the results, with four winners this week headed by new two-year-old winner Kings Gallery (bred by Rhiannon Park) at Melton, three-year0olds Decode (A & J O’Connor) by 5.4m at Shepparton, Stinson (B & M Bradley) at Albury and at Hamilton, Keayang Hungry (Margaret Lee) hit $20,000.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS’ winners list was led by Captain Groove (Louise Toulmin) at Menangle in 1:51.5 to take his earnings past $77,000, Treacheroustimes (M & S Moloney) won at Shepparton to reach $121,000, Eternal Gold (M Cole & B Watson) now records $84,000 with a Penrith win, Beach Captain (Terry Ferguson) got up again at Pinjarra, and at Newcastle, Captain Dorian (Helen Head) recorded 1:55.8 to secure win #15.
Futurity series continue in the USA, and our boys are well represented at The Red Mile – STAY HUNGRY by Hard Four (2YO gelding, 1:50.1) in the $80,000 Kentucky Championships and Staying At Tony’s (3YO filly, 1:50) in a Kentucky Gold Rod division; CAPTAINTREACHEROUS by Gracious (3YO filly, 1:50) and Night Agent (2YO, 1:50.2) in a $30,000 Kentucky Commonwealth series divisions, Eternal Dream (3YO filly, 1:52.1) for a Wildcat series division, and in Golden Rod series divisions, Prowler (2YO colt, 1:52.4), Benny B Hill (3YO gelding, 1:52.3) and Captain Apple (3YO colt, 1:49.2).
TALL DARK STRANGER three-year-old Thiago Hanover went 1:48.1 to take another Kentucky Commonwealth Series division.
At Harrah’s Philadelphia, Loyal To The End (2YO filly, 1:52.1) took a $63,000 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes leg for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS and Jodo Hanover a $20,000 Pennsylvania Stallion Series leg in 1:54.1 for TALL DARK STRANGER.
Of our past roster, BETTING LINE took four winners – Bohemian Braids, Keayang Viper, Terralong Swinger & Dashing Cowboy – while there were representatives for BLISSFULL HALL (Cresco Threepeat), WELL SAID (Kates Virtue), SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Shazza Love) and WESTERN TERROR (Western Bill).
