Filly Sunlight Stride (E & M Stride) took another win at Newcastle, at Gloucester Park Magic Captain (Mal Moody) went back to back to secure his ninth victory, and at Menangle, it was star Captains Knock (John Rutter) putting 14m on rivals in 1:52.2 to make it three in a row and earnings of $959,000 – will he be CAPTAIN’s fourth Australasian millionaire?
Two-year-old filly Treacherous Nova clocked 1:51.2 in Canada to take out the 2026 $125,000 Whenuwishuponastar, and the results came in for both boys at Pocono Downs – filly Sangria Summer burned up the track in 1:48.4 to take out the $250,000 James M Lynch Memorial for CAPTAIN, while STAY HUNGRY three-year-old Thai Hanover claimed the $200,000 Max C Hempt Memorial Consolation in 1:50.1.
