For CAPTAINTREACHEROUS, a handy trifecta of Carbineer (M Croatto, A Moodie & S Coe) at Cambridge to bring up $65,000 in earnings, filly Chrissy (N & W Dewhurst) at Charlton in her second win, and at Ballarat, New-Zealand bred three-year-old A Special Occasion (Tardina Stud) claimed a third win.
A big night in the futurity finals at The Red Mile for CAPTAIN too – Sister Girl Hanover (1:51.) and Gonebutnotforgottn (1:50.3) took their respective $100,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series Finals for 2YO & 3YO fillies, while Need You Now (1:51.2) claimed the $50,000 Kentucky Golden Rod Final.
