Empire are pleased to see our very own Captaintreacherous named in Harness Racing Australia’s 2022 IRT Globe Derby Awards.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS was the Australian Leading Sire of Juveniles by stakes for with 113 starters amassing $3.35m in earnings. He was also leading sire of two-year-olds by stakes, with his 62 starters earning over $1.65m.
From HRA: “For the first time, Captaintreacherous USA was the leading juvenile sire with his two and three year olds earning $3,354,829 highlighted by star fillies Jewel Melody ($317,094) and Encipher ($253,141), as well as the outstanding colts and geldings in Catch A Wave ($193,980) and School Captain ($180,400).”
