An Empire double at Penrith this week with STAY HUNGRY mare My Ultimate Sassy (bred by L & M Vagg) taking honours and a new winner for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS in three-year-old filly Captains Delight (B Settree & S Caffyn).
Also on CAPTAIN’s list also included Keayang Payton (Durham Park) in the Shepherd Memorial at Mt Gambier, Sanchez (S & K Robertson) bringing up $159,000 at Ballarat, Captain Oh Captain (Galthorn Park) ticking over $88,000 at Redcliffe and at Bathurst, Jorge Street (Mathew Day) went back-to-back.
The big guns are back in North America too this week, with Captain Albano picking up a $50,000 leg of the MGM Borgata in 1:51.4 at Yonkers from STAY HUNGRY star Redwood Hanover.
