A HUGE week for our boys this week!
STAY HUNGRY has hit the $2.06m earnings mark for his Australian progeny, added to by new winner, filly Iszaraya (bred by R & D Micallef and D & M Grace) who saluted on debut at Penrith, Surreal Moran (Caine McIntyre) in front at Albion Park, and in a Bathurst three-year-old double, filly Swift Code (Medowie Lodge) by 13m in 1:54.5 and $30,000 earner, Smooth Buckaroo (R & J Hayes).
Remaining unbeaten was CAPTAINTREACHEROUS mare Katie Lorraine (Fusinato Bloodstock) at Warragul in the 2026 Demmler Memorial, joining the statesman sire’s other winners this week Ourtreacherous Reign (David Kennedy) hitting $97,000 at Penrith, mare Sophies Scooter (Stephen Walker)by 6m in the Brewer Memorial at Wagga, and at Albion Park Gidup Captain (J Edmunds, M Stanton and S Jory) took his tally to $45,000 at Albion Park.
A slew of three-year-old winners locally for TALL DARK STRANGER – new winners Goodlookingdeal (Terry Reid) at Canberra, on debut at Invercargill Party Time (R Thacker) in a track double with filly Stranger Things (F & K Price), and at Penrith, Complete Stranger by 6.2m to top $29,000 in earnings. At The Meadows in the US, filly Tall Dark Tequila took a division of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series.
Of our past roster, there was a double for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Wheres The Gold & The Talk), and winners for BETTING LINE (Arma The Great), WESTERN TERROR (Dee Terror) and WELL SAID (Take Out).
