It’s been a big week for our boys – new winners for TALL DARK STRANGER with two-year-old filly Im No Stranger (bred by P & D Thurston) by 10m at Canberra, STAY HUNGRY with Harlem Town (Peter & Leslie Medhurst) at Globe Derby Park, and CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with Ileana (Brooklyn Lodge & Alf la Spina Trust) at Warragul.
CAPTAIN saw winners elsewhere with a double at Redcliffe – Treacherous Gabby (P Vaentine, R Boyd & K Hurst) with a sixth win and Captain Oh Captain (Galthorn Farm) notching $69,000 – and Breckon Farms-bred three-year-olds Party Central (Newcastle in 1:52.8) and Won And Only (hitting $43,000 at Cambridge), and at Ballarat, Captain Wilson (B & M Gourley and V McFarlane) with $88,000 now in the bank.
In North America, Captain Albano clocked 1:49.2 at The Meadowlands to capture a $75,000 leg of the Graduate Series.
BETTING LINE has had a huge six days with 13 winners – New Kid In Town, Milliewood, Get Ya Bets On, Bohemian Braids, Betting Jewel, Kalkadoon Dreaming, Our George Boston, Ultimate Diva, Betting Star, Butter Cup, Mother Was A Mudda, Spirited Whitby & Amaretto Angel.
