Two brand new two-year-old winners for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS this week with filly Rein Du Soleil (bred by Tumby Park) saluting in Pinjarra and colt Watts Up Woody (John Markham) taking victory at Newcastle. His three year olds weren’t to be left out – filly Captains Delight (B Settree & S Caffyn) went back to back with a 1:52.5 win at Menangle, and Major Austin (Mark Carey) by 10m at Canberra. It was a track double there with Octagonise (Brookly Lodge) taking a win to bring his bank to $79,000.
In New Zealand, STAY HUNGRY mare Hungry Bonnie (T & D McPherson), took her second win in three starts at Addington.
BETTING LINE again led the tally of our past roster – Digby Devil, Dashing Cowboy, Dynamite Danni & Credulous – with doubles for WELL SAID (Kates Virtue & Double Said), FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Four Ever A Star & Burns Bay) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Lexy & Glenledi Boy).
