Two new winners for STAY HUNGRY this week – that’s 71 in total from just 103 starters! Two-year-olds Wottawizard (bred by S Taylor, D Zavitsanos, S Reddie, W Viney, E Henry, B & A Tindale, M Manning and the Naybours Group) saluted at Ballarat while over in Narrogin it was Lightonthehill (K & A Charles in the money. At Redcliffe, mare Digby Joy (Cameron Spencer) took honours by 10m and Melfield Soryt (S & N Dickson) posted 1:54.4 to top $30,000 in earnings at Menangle.
At Pocono Downs, two-year-old HUNGRY filly Gold Impact recorded 1:52.3 to take out a $43,000 division of the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes, while CAPTAINTREACHEROUS girls Saffron Station (1:55.0) and Wish For A Captain (1:53.4) claimed divisions of The Stallion Series.
Here at home, CAPTAINTREACHEROUS was represented this week by new winner Harry The Hat (Keith Croft) and at Menangle in 1:52.7, Captain Groove (Louise Toulmin) who now has over $70,000 in the bank.
