STAY HUNGRY filly Whens Lunch (bred by Brad Elder) added a three-year-old win to her two-year-old season salute with a handy victory at Penrith this week.
There was a five-year-old double for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with Magic Captain (Mal Moody) making it two in a row from his Port Pirie win and at Winton, Rakamurphy (B Fahy) brought up $53,000 in the bank with his success.
At Oak Grove in the US, CAPTAIN colts led the way in the $40,000 legs of the Kentucky Sire Stakes series – Clousea taking a 2YO leg in 1:54.3 and Ayeaye Captain Deo a 3YO one in 1:50.1.
BETTING LINE of course topped the table for our past sires with Novanta Rising, Ultimate Cruza and Our Mystery Bet all in the money, with representatives for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Giant Jackson), WELL SAID (The Blue Wren), WESTERN TERROR (Favouritehighlight), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Dancin With Elvis) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Frozen Jewel).
