Some milestones for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS progeny this week – Rakmacknra (bred by BJ Fahy) taking out the 2026 Southern Surge Final at Winton, a new three-year-old winner in filly Captain Ameliah (Mick Boots) who saluted by 15m at Wagga, Le Cardinal (C & J O’Connor) going 1:55.2 to take a heat of the Vicbred 3YO C&G Supe Series at Kilmore, mare Keayang Payton (Durham Park) hit $43,000 at Ballarat, and two geldings into $100,000 territory with Ourtreacherous Reign (David Kennedy) up at Penrith and Beach Captain (Terry Ferguson) at Gloucester Park.
STAY HUNGRY mare Princess Ballerina (Nathan Varcoe) put her bank past $40,000 with a 1:55.8 win at Bathurst.
The results continued to roll in from The Red Mile, with CAPTAIN kids Lindy Believer (1:51.4) taking a leg of the Kentucky Commonwealth 2YO Fillies series, and Captain Arturovico (1:49.2) one of the Kentucky Sires Stakes legs.
Of our former boys, BETTING LINE recorded a quad – Saint Veran, Bettine, Shes In Line and Jilliby Tomcat – a double for WELL SAID (See Me No More & Tellmeboutit) and winners for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (The Real Vanessa), TALL DARK STRANGER (Lochinvar Marcello), SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (The Niteshift), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Oyster Stride) and BLISSFULL HALL (Asmileandawinx).
