Another victory too for Rustenberg (Murdoch Bloodstock), saluting at Addington.
TALL DARK STRANGER collected a two-year-old double at Newcastle with new winner, colt Lochinvar Marcello (John Evans), and Mydnight (Justin Kahlefeldt) by 14m in 1:55.9 for a 4-3-0 formline.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS and TALL DARK STRANGER had a top weekend – a $55,000 Romola Hanover Pennsylvania Sires Stakes leg for Rodeo Drive Deo, a $59,000 Tarport Effrat in 1:50.2 for Prince Hal Hanover, and Sammy Jo Hanover in a PA Stallion Series leg (all at The Meadows), two Wildcat legs at The Red Mile – Easy Station 1:52.4 and Atte Station 1:53.2 for CAPTAIN. For STRANGER, a pair of 3YO PA Stallion Series winners – Strange Summer 1:52.2 and Ballast 1:51.2.
