A brand new winner for STAY HUNGRY on the weekend with three-year-old John Stewart (bred by M McGuire) taking victory at Addington, while in Canada it was exciting two-year-old Frantic Hanover continuing his winning ways, clocking 1:49.4 to take an elimination of the Metro Pace.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS stock also had a solid weekend – mare Bainbridge (A Smith & R Woods) smashed through $145,000 in earnings with her 1:50.4 win at Menangle, Goodtime LIbby (Gibson Family Trust with A Smith & R Woods) recorded a PB of 1:53.5 at Melton, CC Arden (John Stiven) edged closer to the $50,000 mark at Oamaru, Reely Nauti (C & C Beadman) went 1:52.2 to hit $100,000 at Albion Park, and at Marburg it was Captain Oh Captain (Galthorn Farm) taking win sweet #16!
Two-year-old TALL DARK STRANGER colt Ubrute clocked 1:49.4 at The Red Mile to take out the $400,000 Kentucky Championship Series Final, while his three-year-old daughter Ballast smashed a Keystone Classic division in 1:49.2 at The Meadows. BULLDOG HANOVER filly Daya claimed an elimination of the She’s A Great Lady series at Woodbine, while CAPTAIN kids Signal Caller (colts, 1:51) and On Heir (fillies, 1:51.2) claimed legs of the Kindergarten Series at Meadowlands. It was Captain Albano again in the money at Yonkers when he took out the $200,000 Aria Invitational.
Of our former roster, ROCKNROLL HANOVER was represented this weekend by Dynasty, while BETTING LINE had three winners – Sapphire Gambler, Operative Line and Big Black Betty.
