Two-year-old Faith Not Fear (bred by Taffy Ltd) kept his unbeaten status intact by claiming a heat of the Sires Stakes Series at Addington, while at Melton $2.3m earner Catch A Wave (Benstud Standardbreds and P & Z O’Shea) took the Mimosa FFA in 1:52.1 and at Newcastle, Peligroso (K & A Charles) posted his 18th victory – a second consecutive – to bring up $144,000 in earnings.
Taking Keystone Classic races at The Meadows were STAY HUNGRY colt Hungry Marco (1:51.4, $69,000 2YO C&G) and CAPTAINTREACHEROUS star Another C Note (1:48.1, $29,000 Keystone Classic 3YO C&G Division)
TALL DARK STRANGER collected four winners this week – Neptunite, Machx The Sranger, Yirradiva and Bamm Bamm – while there was a double for BETTING LINE (Gunforhire & Victree Charlie), and winners for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Hes A Star), WESTERN TERROR (Calonia Terror) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Neds Beach).
