Old and new for STAY HUNGRY this weekend – four-year-old star Heeza Malteeza (bred by Rob Xerri) hit $96,000 in earnings with a 1:54 win at Menangle, while at Newcastle Hungry Bear (Colin Healy) added a new two-year-old winner to his list.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS son Franco Sinatra (Spreydon Lodge) took out the 2026 Wyndham Cup to take his earnings to $207,000, Admiralofthefleet (Fred Crews) went back-to-back to claim the Transporter Pace series final at Terang, Grumpyshannon (Jonathon McAlister) went 1:55.9 to reach $40,000, and forming a Wagga double were Sanchez (S & K Robertson) in 1:54.4 to claim a heat of the Riverina Championships and reach $150,000 in the bank, and Norms Lady (N & F Kerr, L Marshal and the Isgro family) in 1:55.6 to hit $108,000 in earnings.
TALL DARK STRANGER also claimed a new winner on debut at Terang in Keayang Dreamgirl (M Lee & H Craven).
