CAPTAINTREACHEROUS stock continue to rack up big race wins… Lux Aeterna (bred by Brooklyn Lodge & the la Spina family) took the Group 3 Gold Mares in 1:55.1 at Albion Park, Captains Knock (John Rutter) hit $738,000 with his Listed Steel City Cup victory, secured at Newcastle in 1:54.2, Gordons Bay (Brooklyn Lodge) in 1:55.4 at Hobart in the Flying Mile, and Captain Hammerhead (Roger Bazely Syndicate) claimed the Blacks A Fake Consolation in 1:55.4 and by 10m at Albion Park. At Melton, Captain Perfect (Durham Park) took a heat of the Breeders Crown and in New Zealand, three-year-olds Bettor Off (Studholm Blood Stock) at Forbury and Nothing But You (Breckon Farm) at Addington took wins, as well as Semba (Breckon Farms) up to $54,000 at Geraldine.
TALL DARK STRANGER had a new winner in Stranger Effect (Brooklyn Lodge) at Dubbo and at Wagga, Machx The Stranger (P & D Thurston) took the Listed NSW Breeders Crown Western Region 2YO Fillies final.
