Empire would like to start by sending our sincere thanks to all those who have been checking in on us and helping out in our community make sure the horses and their carers are safe. We’re pleased to confirm the horses here on the farm – including that old marvel JET LAAG – are all doing just fine.
It was all about CAPTAINTREACHEROUS this week with a super speedy Menangle treble – Tokyo Rose (bred by Richard Cornelius) in 1:49.4, her second win in a row to take her earnings past $139,000, Captains Mistress (Taffy Ltd) by 18m in 1:50 to take a heat of the NY Gift, and Jorge Street (Mathew Day) bringing up $175,000 with his 1:51.7 victory.
Also in the money were Franco Encore (Spreydon Lodge) with a consecutive win at Gloucester Park, Nikita Jo (K & T Robson) in her second victory at Scottsdale, and earlier in the week at Menangle, three-year-old Benjamin (John Gibson Family Trust) in 1:52.4.
Of our past roster, BETTING LINE again dominated with Rack’em Up, A Duke To Be, Perfect Gamble, Belmer Betty, Betting Ranger, Kimchi, Dourado & Murra Lane in the money. For WESTERN TERROR it was Im Alrite, Skippers Swan Song and Hes A Terror, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE had Wheres The Gold, Twilight Beach, Swanbourne Spunk, Beach Dancer, Jaspervellabeach and Playa Blanca. There was a treble for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK in Giant Jackson, SHhark Dancer & Keilor Baby Shark, and winners for ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Lullaby & Metro Assassin), WELL SAID (Triedtotellya & Interpretation) and ARTSPEAK (Aunty Frances).
