A big weekend for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS, recording seven winners across Australasia and headlined by Savage Seas (bred by Ben Crosby) who took out the GROUP 3 QBred Breeders Classic 2YO C&G Final at Albion Park in 1:54.
A couple of three-year-olds in NZ with Tee Ball (M & P O’Connor, O Shaw) at Addington and Rahm (Taffy Ltd) at Alexandra Park taking honours, Gidup Captain (J Edmunds, M Stanton & S Jory) came in by 16m at Redcliffe, Franco Sinatra (Spretydon Lodge) added yet another one to his record, Magic Captain (Mal Moody) hit win #6 at Globe Derby Park, and in Launceston it was mare Cee Tee Chelsea (W & M Oliver) who hit $72,000 in earnings with her win.
Of our past boys, WELL SAID led the way this weekend with Second Amendment, Ginnivan, Talkbabytalk & We Salute You in the money, while there was a treble for BETTING LINE (Sir Alec Whitby, Luvbite & Frankiromar), a double for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Maryborough Cup winner Bay of Biscay, and Drive To The Beach), and for WESTERN TERROR, Caledonian Terra.
