CAPTAINTREACHEROUS had a new three-year-old winner this week with Yankee Captain (bred by S, P & G Kelly, D Millerd, B Maher, T Noonan, P Lawlor & R Fyans) taking victory at Bendigo while in North America, his colt son Ayeaye Captain Deo saluted in the $100,000 Paul Revere Pace in 1:50.4 at Plainridge Park (pic). Wayward Blue Chip, a TALL DARK STRANGER filly, claimed a second $40,000 O’Brien Memorial leg at Saratoga.
WESTERN TERROR was our leading past sire this week with five winners – Sundancer Rainbow, Blues Terror, Raging Sea, War Western & Dark Terror, while ROCKNROLL HANOVER took a double with Kissmelvis and Dancin With Elvis.
